| SUBMISSIONS: The 15MG will accept submissions in all media to be included in the annual summer exhibition and be eligible to receive one of the first-ever DATA Awards. All selected artists will be invited as special guests to DATA's VIP cocktail reception, and will have an opportunity to talk about their work during the exclusive exhibition preview prior to the awards ceremony. | All submissions will be eligible for the following awards: | |||||||||
| 2010 DATA Artist of the Year: This award will be presented to the Best in Show -- the work that represents the highest excellence in both creativity and innovation. Prizes TBA. |
|||||||||
| 2010 DATA Musician of the Year: The recipient of this award will demonstrate sonic innovation and/or integrate a creative employment of technology. The winner will be invited to perform at the 2010 DATA Awards ceremony and share their music with the community on TECHVIBE Radio, the 2010 Three Rivers Arts Festival and other Council media outlets and events. |

| 2010 DATA Video/Film Artist of the Year: Presented in partnership with Pittsburgh Filmmakers and juried by leading industry professionals. This award will be presented to an exceptional time-based media artist(s) working in experimental, installation, documentary or narrative film or video. The artwork will be featured at the 2010 DATA Awards ceremony, as well as the Three Rivers Arts Festival and other 2010 Art + Tech events. |

| The 15 Minutes Award: Get Your 15 Minutes of Fame. This award honors the best 2-D work of art, including: illustration, design, painting, photography or mixed media. This work will be featured as the cover art for TEQ Magazine this year, and will include an Artist Feature article in TEQ Magazine. |

| The TAP into ART Award: Presented in partnership with Gateway to the Arts, the recipient of this award will become the 2010 TAP INTO ART Featured Artist. Honoring the best work of intersecting art and technology, this piece of art will become the signature artwork for the TAP INTO ART event on September 30, 2010, and will travel throughout schools in the Pittsburgh region for one year, educating and inspiring children in our region. |

| Corporate Choice Award: Juried by our Corporate Partners, this award will be presented to the work that best represents the confluence of art in the business environment and will be featured on consignment in a corporate office space. |

| The 15's Fifteen: The 15 Minutes Gallery will honor 15 Artists, including the above awardees, as the 2010 15 Minutes Gallery Artists. These artists will be invited to show and sell work throughout the year in the Pittsburgh Technology Council's corporate art space, and will have the opportunity to participate in Art + Technology events throughout the year, including the Art + Technology Corridor at the Three Rivers Arts Festival and the this year's TAP into ART event. |

| ELIGIBILITY: Any individuals over the age of 18, and all businesses are eligible. |
|||||||||
| FEES: The entry fee of $25 [non-refundable check or money-order, payable to the Pittsburgh Technology Council] includes up to 5 artwork submissions; All works of art in the 15 Minutes Gallery can be for sale to the general public, with 75% of the proceeds returning to the artist. |

| SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: All entries should be submitted in on disc in electronic format, with a maximum of 10 MB each. No slides, printed reproductions or original pieces of artwork will be accepted for review. Each submission must be clearly labeled with its title and artist’s name. All submission materials become property of the Pittsburgh Technology Council. Submission materials will not be returned. |

| NOTIFICATION: Accepted participants will be notified via email or phone by April 1, 2010. A gallery/participant email contract will be sent as part of the acceptance notification. |

| SPECIFICATIONS: Accepted work must be delivered to the gallery by Friday, April 23, 2010. All work must be delivered ready to show, including any accessories, electronics and/or hanging wires with museum quality framing or mounting. Many two-dimensional materials will be hung over glass, so all frames MUST BE WIRED for gallery system hooks. Two-dimensional artwork delivered without hanging wire may be subject to exclusion from the exhibition. Advanced installation criteria must be executed by the participant in coordination with the gallery. The 15 Minutes Gallery will not be responsible for providing electronic equipment or executing installations, with exception of the film/video award. 2D artwork is limited in size to 70”x70.” |
