The Pittsburgh Technology Council is saddling up and hitting the trail. We’re celebrating the opening of the Pittsburgh to Washington, D.C., Bike Trail by participating in the upcoming “DC to Pittsburgh 250 Bike Tour” with Venture Outdoors from September 27 to October 4.

The Tour will officially open Point State Park on October 4, culminating in a mass ride to the Point and a huge celebration to follow. As part of the Tour, we want to showcase your company and products along the way!

Jonathan Kersting, Director of Marketing, Communications and Publications at the PTC, will ride the 335-mile 250 Tour over eight days. He’ll be deploying technology and gear from Council members and other regional companies for the 250 Tour, providing daily updates via the DC2PGH blog on this site.

The updates will include pictures, video and reviews of the gear ranging from GPS devices to body monitoring hardware to camping gear. Visit us often as we add new Council member technologies and products to the tour and read how Jonathan is preparing for this history-making event.
