Location and Directions
We're easy to find.
Located in the south Oakland section of Pittsburgh, the Council offices at the
Technology Center are close to all major routes around the city, as well as hot
spots like the South Side and Strip District. The Council offices have free
parking for your convenience and also feature a river view with several hiking
and walking trails nearby.

Port Authority Bus Service
From the PPG Building on Fourth Avenue, 56 B, C or E buses come to the
Technology Center. Please refer to the
Port Authority Web site for routes and schedules.
Directions from the North
- I-79 to I-279 South
- I-279 South to I-579 South
- I-579 South across the Veterans Bridge
- Exit I-579 by bearing right at the "I-376 Monroeville" Exit
- After exit, stay in left lane of Boulevard of the Allies for 1 mile
- Stay on Boulevard of the Allies "via Oakland" lane
- Straight through traffic light at Craft Avenue
- Straight through second traffic light at Halket Street
- Turn right at third traffic light onto Bates (Route 885)
- Straight through traffic light at Second Avenue
- Turn right onto Technology Drive, followed by a quick right at end of driveway
- 2000 Technology Drive is the last building on the left
Directions from the East
- PA Turnpike West to Pittsburgh
- Exit Turnpike at Exit #6, Monroeville
- Follow Parkway I-376 West toward Pittsburgh
- Exit the Parkway at Glenwood Exit #3A
- Straight through traffic light at Second Avenue
- Turn right onto Technology Drive, followed by a quick right at end of driveway
- 2000 Technology Drive is the last building on the left
Directions from the South
- I-79 North to I-279 North to Pittsburgh
- Through Fort Pitt Tunnel and across Fort Pitt Bridge
- Exit 6A to I-376 East toward Monroeville
- Exit I-376 at Grant Street
- Straight through first traffic light
- Turn at first right onto First Avenue
- Turn at first left onto Ross Street
- Turn at first right onto Second Avenue for 1.8 miles
- Turn right onto Technology Drive, followed by a quick right at end of driveway
- 2000 Technology Drive is the last building on the left
Directions from the West
- Route 60 South to Route 22/30 East to I-279 North
- Through Fort Pitt Tunnel and across Fort Pitt Bridge
- Exit 8 to I-376 East toward Monroeville
- Exit I-376 at Grant Street
- Straight through first traffic light
- Turn at first right onto First Avenue
- Turn at first left onto Ross Street
- Turn at first right onto Second Avenue for 1.8 miles
