Internship Services
Building our region’s future workforce.
The Council provides support to organizations and companies looking to implement new internships or streamline existing programs. Through our network of resources, we have developed comprehensive ways to enhance your existing workforce with an intern, while building tomorrow’s workforce.
Dedicated, full-time Council staff, with the expertise and the extensive network of contacts necessary to sustain a
successful internship program, provide services to support your company’s internship efforts, including:
Effective Advertising
Getting the word out. We promote your internship opportunities by posting them to our Career Connector. Then, we highlight internship opportunities through our participation at numerous regional career fairs.
Position Description Development
Need help saying it? We’ll help you format your position description so you can attract the perfect intern with the mix of knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the position.
Resume Screening
We’ll take the first look. By pre-screening and prioritizing all resumes you only have to view those candidates that adequately meet your requirements.
Targeted Recruiting
It’s all in who you know. The Council works with regional trade schools, colleges and universities to establish and strengthen contacts with each organization and their students.
Regional Access
Building a network. We have established relationships with many regional partners to leverage a broader network of internship-related services. Our partners include:
