In addition to designing, installing, and maintaining voice and data networks, the company offers more than 118,000 networking and infrastructure solutions, including cabling, cabinets and racks, digital signage, KVM switching, multimedia, networking and more. The company is world-renowned for its industry-leading, free, live Tech Support by phone in less than “20 seconds.” Black Box services more than 175,000 clients in 141 countries with 188 offices throughout the world.
Challenge
While Black Box Corporation has a well established and strong global presence as a leading provider of communication and infrastructure solutions, the company wanted to expand its local business and fully leverage its communication, infrastructure and product offerings. While the Black Box name is well known in Pittsburgh, the breadth and depth of the company’s offerings – or its standing as a national leader in providing communications systems, voiceover IT, and data infrastructure – wasn’t fully recognized.
Solution
After researching the best ways to effectively reach local technology users and technology companies, Black Box joined the Tech Council. Leveraging the Council’s numerous programs and promotions, the company has begun to see and benefit from results. The Council provided one of the best vehicles for Black Box to reach its target audience, increase awareness, and create new business opportunities.
