Tech Council Helps Great Companies Get Found Online

Net Health Systems, Inc.

Net Health Systems has taken advantage of numerous Sales & Marketing network events offered by the Pittsburgh Technology Council. Sessions on "Implementing Google Analytics" and "SEO/SEM Geo-Targeting" proved to be of especially high value.

Net Health Systems provides integrated clinical, financial, regulatory software for wound management. Over 6,800 physicians, clinicians and healthcare professionals across the U.S. use WoundExpert® to improve patient care and facility performance. WoundExpert® is a secure, Software as a Service (SaaS) offering available as a fully integrated EMR for wound centers and an outcomes tracking and risk management system for in-patient, visiting and telemedical environments.


Challenge

While Net Health Systems' WoundExpert® product branding has been highly successful and sustainable, the company’s incorporated name has proven to be difficult for clients and prospects to search for and find. This had become especially troublesome as clients sought to resolve administrative questions on billing, terms and conditions, and the like. Net Health Systems also needed to improve its web accessibility so that it could use click-through information as a platform for more targeted marketing efforts.


Solution

Net Health Systems has taken advantage of numerous Sales & Marketing network events offered by the Pittsburgh Technology Council. Sessions on "Implementing Google Analytics" and "SEO/SEM Geo-Targeting" proved to be of especially high value.


Results

Using information gained through these and other Council-sponsored events, Net Health Systems has implemented new processes to gather significant information on search inquiry hits, bounce rates, and increasing the number of clients requesting a demonstration. While it is too early in the process to cite improved performance metrics with full confidence, some quantitative improvement has already been seen, with bounce rates reduced by 15-20 percent in the first 90 days. Net Health Systems will continue to refine its Web site language in line with goals set by senior management and the board of directors to achieve exponential improvement in key performance indicators.
