Q: What is the most encouraging
thing you see for the future of the tech industry in our region?
A:Pittsburgh has done a tremendous job of transitioning from a major manufacturing region into a very well established and leading provider of technology and services. Local technolgy based businesses continue to grow and new technology companies are finding Pittsburgh a great place to call home.

Q:How does your company approach
innovation?
A:As the largest independent provider of leading communication technologies, we position ourselves at the forefront of emerging technologies. Our vendor neutral, but vendor connected approach keeps us at the forefront of innovation and ensures that we provide our clients with the best available solutions for their specific needs.

Q:Who has been your largest influence in building your business?
A:Our customers have played the largest role in building our business. As their businesses have expanded, whether nationally or globally, they have asked us to expand with them. We are their communication and infrastructure business partner. They value our expertise, objective advice and comprehensive offerings that have resulted in long, trusting relationships.

Q:Which Council offering has had the largest impact for your business?
A:The Council has been a great vehicle to market and expand our local business presence. It has helped us make some very good inroads and has also given as a wonderful opportuntiy to help the technology companies of Pittsburgh through our Member2Member discount.

Q:What was your first job, what
were your responsibilities?
A:My career began in Pittsburgh working for a division of Pfizer Phaurmeceuticals , Schneider. Schneider manufactured guidewires used in various medical procedures. I was responsible for the production line planning and inventory management. I have found memories of my experience there and smile anytime I pass RIDC East.
