Pittsburgh Java User Group -
Overview
PittJUG
The Pittsburgh Java User Group, PittJUG, was established in 1997 as a knowledge sharing vehicle for individuals with a common interest in Java technologies.
Today, PittJUG is offered within the Pittsburgh Technology Council's IS Peer Network to provide a forum for information exchange, education and peer-to-peer networking for individuals responsible for designing, deploying and maintaining Java technologies within their organizations. PittJUG promotes good software engineering practices within the Java community by encouraging members to share technical solutions and best practices. As a group, we strive to increase the level of adoption of Java as a language and platform for software development while positioning Pittsburgh as a center for technical excellence.
