Southwestern Pennsylvania manufacturers turn to the Council to provide
legislative, hiring and networking support to improve industry performance and
growth.
Manufacturing is the nuts and bolts of our region boasting companies that are
high-tech, highly efficient and in high demand. The PTC supports local
manufacturers through the Advanced Manufacturing Network.
The Advanced Manufacturing Network’s purpose is to:
- Provide knowledge through programming, best-practices, company
tours and open forum discussions.
- Develop community by holding social events dedicated to
idea-sharing.
- Supply resources like internationalization strategies and
business opportunities to keep regional manufacturers competitive in the global
market.
- Advocate important issues to government by conducting company
tours and facilitating legislative action.
Made in PA Expo
About the Expo
The Made in PA Expo, previously known as the ARMTech Showcase of Industry and Technology, is a two-day supplier forum and trade show highlighting the capabilities of manufacturing firms in Pennsylvania. The EXPO provides attending manufacturing firms with “how to do business” seminars with large regional and national OEMs, as well as an opportunity for visibility and networking with other Pennsylvania firms.

The MADE in PA EXPO is presented by the Pittsburgh Technology Council in partnership with the Armstrong County Industrial Development Council , Catalyst Connection, The Pennsylvania State University Electro-Optics Center.
