Taught by Pittsburgh’s LunaMetrics, one of a small handful of Google Analytics Certified Partners, this one-day training is a technical course primarily for webmasters and IT teams who implement GA.
Google Analytics 301 focuses on the technical side of implementing and configuring GA. When you're done with this course you'll know how to set up filters to exclude employee traffic, add event tracking code to measure interactions with videos, and troubleshoot your existing Google Analytics tracking code to ensure accurate data.
Things you'll learn include:
• Account configurations and settings
• How the tracking code works
• Cleaning up your data with profiles and filters
• Setting up goals
• Implementing ecommerce tracking
• Linking AdWords and Google Analytics
• Event tracking for videos, downloads, outbound links and more
• How to track additional information about visitors with Custom Variables
• How to do sub domain and cross domain tracking
• Extracting data from Google Analytics

Event Registration Policy
Attendees must pre-pay for all Council Programs. Registration is not confirmed until payment has been received. Walk-ins, when accepted, will be processed on-site with an additional $20 surcharge. Unless otherwise noted, cancellations must be received two business days prior to an event to qualify for a refund. Substitutions welcome. Please attempt to register at least 24 hours prior to the event so that there is an accurate count for food orders and venue.
