Launched by the world’s largest scientific society, the American Chemical Society (ACS), TechCatalyst is designed to help. Our seasoned technology transfer professionals can help you find new or complementary technology that meets your strategic needs, and they provide expert advice about the technical merits and commercial risks of that technology. Finding strategic product opportunities and lessening their development risk are the hallmarks of our Finder & Advisor Service. Through TechCatalyst, qualified small businesses gain advantages typically reserved for major corporations – expert advice, new and companion technologies, risk mitigation, strategic funding and more. Small businesses in the following industries that complete the Finder & Adviser process may apply for funding consideration in the Catalyst Program: basic and engineered materials; biotechnology; chemical and allied products, consumer goods, and pharmaceuticals. In addition, applicants for Catalyst Program funding must have at least: Five employees; $2 million in book value; and two years of strong and proven operating history. | 08.07.08 |
