CMU & Dept. of Energy Team to Bring Solar Innovation to Pittsburgh
Through a series of prize challenges offering more than $1.5M in awards, the Energy Department’s SunShot Catalyst Program makes it faster and easier for American innovators to launch cutting-edge solar companies, while tackling time-sensitive market challenges.
The program is a series of 4 contests that helps teams with a raw idea build a real product ready for commercialization. Participants in the Business Innovation Contest can recruit team members to work on a new cleanweb business idea in the solar or buildings space that can be implemented with software, data, or automation, or they can select an idea at catalyst.energy.gov.
