In an effort to attract the area’s top talent, Bechtel Plant Machinery, Inc. (BPMI) is hosting a recruitment event on Tuesday, November 11th, 2014, at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Monroeville, Pennsylvania. Qualified job seekers can expect to meet with a hiring manager in their field from 4 to 8pm.

The company is seeking mechanical and electrical engineers, IT Professionals, Procurement Specialists, and Logistics Analysts. Job qualifications include a B.S. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (for engineering positions), a B.S. in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration (for Procurement and Logistics), or a B.S. in Computer Science, Information Science, or Information Technology (for IT professionals). Other eligibility qualifications include a minimum 3.0 GPA, U.S. citizenship, and at least three years of applicable experience. Applicants selected will also be subject to a Federal background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified matter.

“One of the things that makes BPMI unique,” Deena Zadylak, Recruitment Specialist for BPMI says, “is that we offer challenging work that is significant and important to our nation. For more than fifty years, our employees have supported the U.S. naval nuclear fleet, a role that is essential to our country’s continued security.”

BPMI hires the brightest, most ambitious applicants. In turn, they work hard at employee retention. A competitive benefits package and vacation allowance, tuition reimbursement, and a compressed work week are just three features popular with current BPMI employees. As one employee states, “I love having every other Friday scheduled off. That provides me with more flexibility for scheduling personal appointments without interfering with work or for taking short trips without using vacation time.”

The company seeks to fill 85 positions by the end of 2014 and is hopeful that this exclusive recruiting event will aid in achieving that goal. Qualified candidates are encouraged to attend on November 11th with a current resume. More information about BPMI can be found at www.bpmionline.com. BPMI is an equal opportunity employer.
