New Leaders Council seeking applicants from Pittsburgh for 2015 Fellowship Program

One weekend a month from January to May a class of 15-20 are trained by expert volunteers in fundraising, communications, political management, social media etc. The application process is competitive but fellows do not pay for this training. Right now, applications are open and close on November 11. 

Fellows are typically between the ages of 25-35 years old and come from all walks of life: union/labor members; lawyers; health care professionals; non profit managers; politicos; government workers; corporate/private sector folks; grad/professional students; entrepreneurs.

The NLC Fellowship Experience 

  • Five full weekend sessions from January through May 
  • Focused training in fundraising, communications, social media, campaign management, and much more 
  • Personalized mentoring and professional development projects
