Plan Design and Performance

We have extensive experience in working with clients to identify areas for cost savings. Through the use of creative plan designs, carrier negotiations and modifications to administrative procedures, we work with our clients to improve the overall management of their employee benefit programs.

Communication

Effective communication to employees is an important component for a successful benefits package in any organization. We assist our clients with communication and education tailored to the specific circumstances of each client and its participants.

Administrative Solutions

As an extension of your human resources team, we can help you successfully administer an employee benefits program that ensures continuous employee satisfaction. We process routine transactions such as adding and terminating coverages for employees, resolve employee issues and ensure compliance with legislative mandates that can save on an investment in significant company resources.

Volume Purchasing Arrangements

The Council’s Employee Benefits Group has worked to negotiate collective buying arrangements with several insurance providers, encompassing the entire spectrum of employee benefit products. Through these arrangements the PTC is able to offer its members’ plan design options, product flexibility and pricing discounts.

The Council's program offers a comprehensive portfolio of options. Medical plan options include PPO's, HMO's, HDHP's as well as traditional indemnity plans. Plans tailored for employees residing outside of the Western Pennsylvania plan area are also available. In addition to health benefits, the Council's program offers dental and vision options along with life and disability programs. The dental plans include some features and provisions that are not available in the direct market with United Concordia. If you are looking at vision plans for your organization, note that we offer eight different vision plan design options, which are available for companies of all sizes! The Life and Disability programs available are tailored for employer groups of 1-9 employees. We offer a more customized approach to Employer groups of 10+ employees to assist you in providing the program that best matches the goals of your benefits program.
