Carlow University
Savings: Up to 38 percent of tuition rates
Since 1978, Carlow University has served the educational needs of working adults with a supportive environment, exceptional faculty and dedicated professional staff who are all committed to students’ lifelong learning and success. Carlow now offers a special tuition rate for employees of Pittsburgh Technology Council member companies. Working adults admitted to undergraduate programs through the Adult Degree Center (ADC) will receive a 38 percent reduction from published tuition rates. Carnegie Mellon – Heinz School MSIT Program
Savings: Up to 15 percent of part-time tuition rate
Carnegie Mellon’s Heinz School offers employees of Pittsburgh Technology Council member companies up to 15 percent tuition scholarship towards its Master of Science in Information Technology (MSIT) degree. MSIT is focused on developing IT leaders who can achieve business objectives through the intelligent application of technology. This is a part-time program designed for experienced IT professionals, providing a flexible curriculum and convenient evening and distance classes. Students can choose from three tracks of concentration: IT Management, Information Security & Assurance, or Software Design & Management. Chatham University
Savings: 20 percent of tuition rates
Chatham University, founded in 1869, is one of the oldest women’s colleges in the United States and the only national liberal arts college in Pittsburgh. Chatham also offers 13 coeducational graduate programs and special features for adult students, providing the quality of a Chatham education with flexible evening and weekend schedules. Duquesne University’s Center for Corporate & Executive Education (CCEE)
Savings: 10 percent of Project Management continuing education seminars
Duquesne University’s Center for Corporate & Executive Education (CCEE) is pleased to offer a discount for members of the Pittsburgh Technology Council of 10% off of the advertised price of any continuing education (non-credit) seminar through CCEE held at Duquesne University in the subject area of Project Management. This discount will be good throughout 2009 and includes (but is not limited to) any session in the Masters Certificate in I.T. Project Management or Leadership in Project Management programs as well as the PMP and CAPM Exam Preps. No other discounts may be used in conjunction with this offer. Please alert CCEE personnel of status as a Pittsburgh Technology Council member when registering for sessions so that the proper discount can be applied.

Pittsburgh Filmmakers
Savings: Waiver of all equipment and facility fees
Pittsburgh Filmmakers is one of the country's largest and most respected art centers. The School of Film, Photography and Digital Media offers an exceptional, comprehensive artistic and professional curriculum. Pittsburgh Filmmakers is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD), and classes can be taken both as non-credit or college-level credit courses. Filmmakers will waive all equipment and facilities fees for PTC members enrolling in our courses. Savings: 20 percent of academy membership fee
The Professional Academy for Continuing Education is offered through the School of Adult and Continuing Education at Robert Morris University. The Academy offers programs for professional development and continuing education. Topics include: ethics, law, communications, marketing, technology, diversity, conflict resolution, leadership, performance appraisals, auditing fraud and estate taxes. Saint Vincent College
Savings: Up to 50 percent of tuition rates
Saint Vincent College is an independent liberal arts college whose quality educational programs have earned national recognition. Founded in 1846, Saint Vincent is a Catholic, Benedictine, liberal arts college of 1,400 men and women from 28 states and many foreign countries who pursue undergraduate degrees in biology, business, psychology, fine arts, pre-law, pre-med and many other areas of study, as well as graduate degrees in business and education. The college offers a 50 percent tuition discount to all Pittsburgh Technology Council members who are pursuing a second bachelor’s degree as a continuing education student.
