About Explore the Floor

Explore the Floor is designed to connect and strengthen our region’s manufacturing community. Each program offers an inside look at the operations of leading companies, creating opportunities for benchmarking, learning, and networking. Participants not only gain insights into innovative processes and capabilities but also discover new business development opportunities with fellow member companies.

This series is exclusively open to professionals from manufacturing and robotics companies.

Featured Host: Harmony Castings

Founded in 1979, Harmony Castings is an aluminum foundry specializing in precision V-Process castings for customers across a wide range of industries, including medical, defense, robotics, and marine applications. Based in Harmony, we combine advanced manufacturing technology with decades of foundry expertise to produce complex aluminum castings with exceptional quality, consistency, and surface finish.

The V-Process casting method allows zero draft capabilities, tighter tolerances, faster speed-to-market, and lower tooling costs compared to traditional molding methods. Harmony Castings continues to invest in automation, process improvement, and workforce development to support both prototype and production casting needs while delivering responsive customer service and reliable lead times.

Harmony Castings was American Foundry Society’s 2025 Metalcaster of the Year. Metalcaster of the Year is an award that recognizes facilities that demonstrate excellence, innovation, and operational leadership in our industry.
