  • Open only to manufacturing companies that are active members of the Pittsburgh Technology Council or clients of Catalyst Connection.
  • Limit one attendee per company.
  • All registrations are subject to review and approval. We reserve the right to cancel registrations that do not meet these criteria. Shell has the right to refuse any company.

Explore the Floor is designed to connect and strengthen our region’s manufacturing community. Each program offers an inside look at the operations of leading companies, creating opportunities for benchmarking, learning, and networking. Participants not only gain insights into innovative processes and capabilities but also discover new business development opportunities with fellow member companies.

Featured Host: Shell Polymers Monaca

Shell Polymers Monaca is a 386-acre petrochemical complex in Potter Township, Beaver County, about 30 miles northwest of Pittsburgh. Completed in 2022 after nearly a decade of development and more than four years of construction, the facility is designed to produce approximately 1.6 million tonnes of polyethylene pellets each year. These pellets are supplied to Shell’s customers and used to manufacture everyday products, including household items, food and consumer packaging, and various industrial and utility goods.

Rules:

  • All attendees must wear closed toe shoes. Please wear steel toed boots if you have them. If not, protection will be provided
  • Valid ID is required
  • No Photography
  • Long pants only, please avoid loose fitting clothing
  • Additional rules and instructions will be sent as we get closer to the event date.

  • Pre-Registration is always requested, when possible, so that we may best plan for your arrival.
  • No walk-ins. 
  • Refunds requested less than 3 business days prior to the event will not be granted.
