Apprenti PGH Press Conference
Announcing, Apprenti PGH-a tech apprenticeship. The technology sector in southwestern Pennsylvania has grown to include nearly 10,000 local employers, that pump nearly $25 billion into the region’s annual payroll. Average wages have grown to over $104,000 within our region’s information technology cluster, but many positions are going unfilled, threatening to derail progress. To support the continued success and growth of this key industry, and to create more inclusive pathways for everyone to participate in this growing field, Fortyx80, in collaboration with the Pittsburgh Technology Council, is pleased to be bringing Apprenti PGH to western Pennsylvania.
