Beyond the Briefing: A Discussion on Infrastructure with County Executive Rich Fitzgerald and Vincent Valdes, Executive Director of the Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission

Please join us on December 15^th as we host County Executive Rich Fitzgerald for an interactive discussion on the state of infrastructure initiatives here in southwestern PA.  In addition to exploring some of the major projects already underway in the region, we’ll also address the potential for new and accelerated projects associated with the $1.2 trillion bipartisan infrastructure legislation that was recently  adopted by Congress.  

Held in the form of a fireside chat, this forum will also include participation from Vincent Valdes, CEO of the Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission.  Composed of representatives from the 10-county region, the SPC helps to create long-term plans and priorities for major infrastructure projects in the region.  The Board of Directors of the SPC is currently chaired by County Executive Fitzgerald, but also includes Commissioners from the ten-county region, as well as the Mayor of the City of Pittsburgh. 

With the passage of the $1.2 trillion infrastructure package, this program is well timed to help you stay on top of important developments in the future of our region’s infrastructure plans.
