CIO Insights: Organizational Performance and Talent

The CIO Insights series connects the technology community in Greater Pittsburgh and helps professionals to understand the challenges and opportunities within IT from the leaders who drive IT strategy.

In 2022, the Pittsburgh Technology Council and CGI conducted a CIO survey to determine the trends that were most important to our region’s IT leadership. This survey used data analytics to help the industry understand trends, patterns, and sentiments around a myriad of IT topics. We presented an overview of the results last year.

The topic of IT as a Tool for Organizational Performance and Talent was ranked as one of the top issues facing CIOs today. In this panel discussion, we’ll take a deep dive into how IT enables organizational growth and the strategies and best practices for attracting the talent to fill these important roles.

Confirmed Panelists:

  • Jeremy Gill, VP and CIO, Duquesne Light
  • Chandana Kathuria, SVP/CIO, Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland
  • J. Alex Lang, Chief Information Officer, Transtar, LLC
  • Emily Sheetz, Vice President of Strategy and IT, Sheetz, Inc.
