Help 412 Food Rescue Feed Pittsburgh

By The Pittsburgh Technology Council

412 Food Rescue raised $66,900 in 24 hours and surpassed its initial $50,000 one-day goal with Give Big Pittsburgh.

Help 412 Food Rescue use this momentum to reach $250,000 by the end of the year to support its ongoing programs and efforts to close the gap on food insecurity in Pittsburgh.

412 Food Rescue was founded on the belief that we are all wired to be there for each other. That we can make a difference when we think outside of the box, roll up our sleeves, and call upon the goodness in each of our hearts.  That we can face anything, even a global crisis, with resilience and grit to ensure children and families are fed  with dignity  with perfectly good, nutritious, fresh food.

In a little over six years 412 Food Rescue has saved over 20 million pounds of perfectly good food from entering the landfills by its network of 12,000+ volunteers who brought it to people experiencing food insecurity.

Help feed the movement that believes that there is enough healthy food for everyone and there is enough love and generosity to break down barriers and get it to the people who need it most while saving our earth.
