Butler Native Leads Pittsburgh Firm’s Rebrand to The Baker Agency

Submitted by The Baker Agency

Baker Public Relations, now The Baker Agency, today announced an ambitious rebrand designed to propel the agency into its next era as a leader in integrated public relations and marketing. With offices in Pittsburgh, Albany, N.Y., and St. Petersburg, Fla., The Baker Agency’s new identity marks a bold step in its evolution from a traditional PR agency to a full-service innovator, now offering media relations, social media, video production, digital marketing, design, event planning, public affairs, advertising, and crisis communications – all under one roof.

For nearly two decades, The Baker Agency has built a reputation for delivering results-driven strategies and forging trusted partnerships with clients across diverse industries. As the firm has grown, its capabilities have expanded far beyond public relations, responding to the changing needs of clients and the evolving media landscape.

Megan Baker, founder and CEO, expanded the firm by opening a Pittsburgh office in 2019. A Butler native and 1996 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP), Baker plans to relocate back to the Pittsburgh area in late summer 2027.

“This rebrand represents more than a new name; it represents our commitment to leading the way in strategic marketing and communications,” said Megan Baker. “We are passionate about helping brands tell their stories in powerful ways, using a holistic approach that integrates traditional and digital media, creative content and innovative solutions.”

“Our new name is not a change in direction for our agency; it is a statement of who we have become and where we are headed,” added Baker. “Our rebrand signals our commitment to innovation for our clients and continued growth in new markets. We are driven to set new standards in strategic communications for clients today and for years to come.”

Along with its new name, The Baker Agency also unveiled a new logo, a new tagline of “Where brands and stories come to life” and a revamped website that showcases the firm’s full range of client offerings and articulates its brand, mission, vision, values and strategic approach to client success.

In its three primary markets, as well as across the nation, The Baker Agency has a wide cross-section of clients in healthcare, economic development, energy and manufacturing, nonprofit, sports and entertainment, tourism and hospitality, professional services, technology and education.

Pittsburgh area clients have included The Children’s Institute of Pittsburgh, Gwen’s Girls, Attack Theatre, Excelitas Technologies, Equitrans Midstream (acquired by EQT Corporation in 2024), Evoqua Water Technologies, Butler County Tourism & Convention Bureau (Experience Butler), The Borough of Seven Fields, Pittsburgh Passion, Cozza Law Group, Ogg, Murphy & Perkosky, 412 Foster Project and more.
