Hi Pittsburgh! Columbus-based Covail is excited to expand and partner locally

Dear Pittsburgh Technology Community,

I’d like to introduce you to Covail. Covail, formerly known as the Columbus Collaboratory, was born out of the aspiration of seven large companies in Central Ohio—American Electric Power (AEP), Battelle, Cardinal Health, Huntington Bank, L Brands, Nationwide, and OhioHealth. Their goal was, and continues to be, solving common automation, artificial intelligence (AI), and cybersecurity challenges across multiple industries. Working over the past five years for these diverse, mature enterprises made Covail the innovative, value-driven solutions partner that it is today.

In May, we changed our company name to Covail, reflecting our company’s nationwide expansion and unification of our offerings under a focused portfolio designed to enable Intelligent Operations (IO) for clients. Covail delivers superior value in order to automate and optimize your business through trustworthy intelligence using results-driven, collaborative methodologies.

According to Gartner, “By 2021, 80% of organizations will seek both transformation and optimization services, up from 65% today.” *

Our national expansion affirms a commitment to businesses everywhere who rely on optimization, stemming from five years of proven solutions for leading companies in industries that include Financial Services, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Defense, Energy, and Retail.

More importantly, here’s what our clients are saying:

Jim Fowler, Chief Technology Officer, Nationwide “Covail’s latest evolution is incredibly well-timed because, more than ever, leading companies will need trustworthy AI and software environments that rely on secure and private data. As we rethink how technology can be leveraged to great advantage in our business, we look forward to working with Covail as part of the ecosystem of partners Nationwide can rely on to help advance our growing digital business.”

Brian Rice, Chief Information Officer, Cardinal Health “Our collaborative partnership with Covail is enabling us to rapidly improve our cyber risk and defense capabilities, equipping us to operate more confidently in the new digital world. ”Michael Krouse, Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer, OhioHealth “Covail’s AI capabilities are transforming how we optimize and plan our current and future workforce. We’re excited to continue this work and expand it elsewhere throughout our operations.”

As we researched cities in which to expand, the combination of a progressive, diverse industry base, Midwest values, and leading-edge educational system made Pittsburgh a natural fit. We’re thrilled to expand into Pittsburgh and look forward to becoming an active part of the technology ecosystem.

We look forward to meeting you soon,

Ben
