Ken Adams Joins LegalSifter as Chief Content Officer

LegalSifter is pleased to announce that after serving as their advisor for the past two years, Ken Adams has joined LegalSifter as Chief Content Officer.

Ken will be responsible for applying legal expertise to LegalSifter’s products. He will help determine the LegalSifter software roadmap, will coordinate the input of subject-matter experts, and will serve as a member of the leadership’s team.

Kevin Miller, LegalSifter’s Chief Executive Officer, said, “We’ve benefited greatly from Ken’s expertise over the past two-plus years, so it’s exciting for us to have him get more involved at a time when LegalSifter is poised for significant growth. Ken’s a transcendent figure in the world of contracts. He has single-handedly created and made himself the master of a new discipline—systematic study of the building blocks of contract language. Miller continues, “It’s a bonus that he’s such a great communicator, whether through his scholarly writing, the training he offers, or his blog. Many people around the world rely on Ken’s work. He will continue those activities alongside his work for us.”

Since 2006 Ken Adams has been a scholar, consultant, and trainer on contract drafting. He is the author of A Manual of Style for Contract Drafting, published by the American Bar Association. The book is in its fourth edition and has sold tens of thousands of copies. Ken has given hundreds of Drafting Clearer Contracts seminars around the world, and he recently launched Drafting Clearer Contracts: Masterclass, an online course based around a series of live one-hour interactive sessions. Before that he worked as a transactional lawyer at law firms in New York and in Geneva, Switzerland. An American citizen, he grew up overseas.
