Megan Baker Named National Finalist for PRNEWS Top Women Awards as Agency

Megan Baker, founder and CEO of The Baker Agency, has been named a finalist in the PRNEWS Top Women in PR & Communications Awards, earning national recognition in the Business Entrepreneurs category.

The recognition comes as The Baker Agency continues to expand its presence in the Pittsburgh market following its recent rebrand from Baker Public Relations. The rebrand reflects the firm’s evolution into a full-service communications agency as it approaches its 20-year milestone in 2027.

Presented annually by PRNEWS, the awards recognize women driving impact across brand reputation, strategic storytelling and leadership. Baker joins a select group of professionals nationwide recognized for advancing the communications industry.

“This recognition is incredibly meaningful,” said Baker. “As we approach 20 years in business, it reflects not only our evolution into a national agency, but also the extraordinary dedication of our team and the trust our clients place in us from across the country. We are proud to help organizations nationwide tell their stories and achieve their goals.”

Founded in 2007, The Baker Agency expanded into the Pittsburgh market in 2019. A Butler native, Baker maintains strong ties to the region and continues to grow the agency’s presence locally.

SoftWriters Launches FrameworkLTC+™ to Power Next-Era of AI-Driven Pharmacy Operations

SoftWriters today announced the launch of FrameworkLTC+™, a major advancement in its flagship platform, FrameworkLTC™. FrameworkLTC+ introduces fully integrated, AI-driven automation built for clinical-grade accuracy, enterprise-scale performance, and production-grade reliability and security. This new solution transforms long-term care (LTC) pharmacy operations starting with one of the most manual and error-prone workflows: prescription order entry.

Prescription order entry has long been a bottleneck for LTC pharmacies, requiring significant manual effort while increasing the risk of transcription errors. FrameworkLTC+ addresses this challenge with clinical-grade AI embedded directly within the system of record, enabling the platform to interpret incoming prescriptions, automatically populate order fields, and apply clinical and formulary logic with precision and consistency.

Unlike standalone AI tools or workflow overlays, FrameworkLTC+ is natively integrated into the core FrameworkLTC platform, ensuring end-to-end workflow orchestration, real-time data integrity, and enterprise scalability across high-volume pharmacy operations.

SV And Paladin Enter Into a Three-Year Partnership

PSV has partnered with Paladin EnviroTech (“Paladin”), a technology-lifecycle partner helping organizations recycle securely, compliantly, and without losing control of data or valuable materials, in a collaboration that reflects the growing importance of circular IT solutions within elite sport and business. Paladin specializes in IT Asset Disposition (ITAD): the secure, certified, and environmentally responsible processing of decommissioned IT equipment, including data destruction, reuse, and recycling, in full compliance with applicable regulations, including GDPR.

As part of the partnership, Paladin will also have a prominent on-site presence at Philips Stadium through the Paladin Business Lounge, located on the fourth floor. As the naming partner of this space, Paladin will be at the heart of PSV’s extensive business network and the wider Brainport Eindhoven community, with the lounge serving as a central hub for connection, collaboration, and innovation.

The collaboration will support Paladin in its aims to increase its brand awareness within PSV’s business network, and Eindhoven’s technology corridor. The partnership comes as Paladin builds on an already strong presence in the Netherlands through its January acquisition of Helmond-based R&L Recycling, and will strengthen its reputation as a reliable partner for organizations seeking to dispose of their IT equipment safely, securely and sustainably.
