EOS Storage Signs New Lease at RIDC Keystone Commons

Eos Energy Enterprises, a clean energy storage company, has signed a 5-year lease with Regional Industrial Development Corporation of Southwestern Pennsylvania (RIDC) at Keystone Commons for 60,765 square-feet of space in the North Building and 46,582 square-feet of space in the S Shop, which comprises the building’s entire first floor.

Eos’s new space will be used for battery manufacturing and logistics. Eos will begin moving into the new facility in March but expects to be fully operational in September.

“As the former home of Westinghouse Electric, this site holds historical significance and a legacy of innovation,” said Joe Mastrangelo, CEO of Eos Energy Enterprises. “Our collaboration with RIDC will continue that legacy by creating a rebirth in American manufacturing to deliver the energy needs of today and tomorrow.”

 

Trustpoint.One is Rebranding as Translate.One

Trustpoint.One, a leading litigation support provider in the U.S., announced that it has rebranded its translations division as Translate.One. The new name will better align with its corporate translation solutions and new service offerings. Additionally, the change will help identify the company as a provider of a wide range of translations solutions that extend beyond the core legal focus of the parent company.

With over 30 years of translation experience from the combined companies of Echo International and Confluent Translations, Trustpoint Translations was established in 2017 to support Trustpoint.One, a leading litigation support provider in the United States.

The company has grown substantially over the last two years, adding new corporate clients whose employees and customers around the world require content in many languages. They have done this by strengthening their offerings with regards to software, eLearning, and multimedia localization solutions. As the translation and localization industry advances, new solutions will be added.

 

Windstream Enterprise Named to Frost & Sullivan’s UCaaS Frost Radar™ Report

Windstream Enterprise (WE), a managed communications service provider, was named for the third consecutive year in Frost Radar™: North American UCaaS Market 2021, which evaluated UCaaS service providers on product portfolio, vision and strategy, research and development, scalability and other factors.

Comcast Connected to NEarly 1 Billion Devices Over WiFi in 2021

The number of devices connected to WiFi has skyrocketed by 12X since 2018 as Xfinity households connected nearly 1 billion devices in 2021. In fact, reliable WiFi has become so critical that nearly half of the country (45 percent) believe it is more important than reliable transportation*. These findings and more highlight Comcast’s 2021 WiFi Trends Report, providing insights into how WiFi enabled Americans to pursue what mattered to them most in 2021 based on network trends and consumer insights.

“The ecosystem of connected devices in the home and the applications running on them has exploded over the last few years, driving a shift in consumers perceptions on what truly is important to their connectivity experience,” said Sophie Ahmad, Chief Marketing Officer of Xfinity Consumer Service, Comcast Cable. “Unbeatable Internet that provides the best connection, complete security, faster speeds and the best tech is now integral to how Americans work, exercise, parent, and entertain.”

Key findings from the 2021 report include:

  • The number of devices connected to WiFi has increased 12X since 2018.
  • Smartphones account for almost one-third of all devices, a 23X increase from 2018.
  • “Health” was the fastest rising device category with more than 49 million smartwatches and fitness trackers connected in Xfinity households.
  • Internet of Things devices have increased 31X since 2018.
  • Streaming and gaming devices increased 14X and 15X since 2018.
  • Americans invested in their home networks, improving WiFi, upgrading equipment of increasing speeds, citing WiFi as “more important to their daily lives than reliable transportation.”
