Involta Achieves HITRUST Risk-based, 2-year Certification to Meet Compliance Requirements

Involta, an industry-leading hybrid IT, cloud computing, and data center services company, today announced a total of six Involta data centers and managed infrastructure platforms have now earned certified status for information security by HITRUST. Facilities and systems in Boise, Idaho, Marion, Iowa, and Akron, Ohio, have joined three previously Involta certified locations, including:

  • Duluth, Minnesota
  • Tucson, Arizona
  • Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

HITRUST Risk-based, 2-year (r2) Certified status demonstrates that these facilities and systems have met key regulations and industry-defined requirements and are appropriately managing risk. This achievement places Involta in an elite group of providers worldwide that have earned this certification. By including federal and state regulations, standards, and frameworks and incorporating a risk-based approach, the HITRUST Assurance Program helps organizations address security and data protection challenges through a  comprehensive and flexible framework of prescriptive and scalable security controls.

 

Dark Rhino Announces Partnership Roundstone Management

Covestro LLC Honored with Product Safety and Waste Minimization Awards by American Chemistry Council 

At the recent annual Responsible Care® & Sustainability Conference held in Miami, Florida, the American Chemistry Council recognized Covestro LLC with its Responsible Care® Product Safety Award, Waste Minimization, Reuse and Recycling Award, and Facility Safety Awards for five of its US sites. The marks the sixth time the company, a leading producer of high-performance polymers in North America, received the product safety award.

“Safety, both in our products and at our facilities, is a core component of who we are at Covestro,” said Haakan Jonsson, chairman and president of Covestro LLC. “These awards affirm our commitment to safety and sustainability and showcase our innovative approach to overcoming challenges.”

Covestro was honored with a Product Safety Award for its Desmopack™ RC product, a rapid curing adhesive designed for faster production while enhancing food safety in flexible packaging applications.
