TEQ: Can you tell us more about Solü and what differentiates you in the marketplace?

Solü: Our values, combined with our flexible and tailored service offerings, have been the key to our success over the years and what’s helped us to grow. Our key strengths are rooted in our values: integrity is indispensable; commitment to customer satisfaction; people-first, and the belief that flexibility moves us forward.

In addition to our custom software solutions practice focusing on cloud migration and hosting and application development, we offer staffing services to help companies find, hire and retain the best talent.

With our National Recruiting Center and Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) practice, we work as an extension of a company’s internal recruiting plan. We provide customizable and scalable solutions to lift their recruiting initiatives where and how they need them most. Whether they require fully outsourced recruiting capabilities or on-demand recruiting to meet specific business objectives, we can tailor an RPO solution to help them fulfill their hiring goals.

TEQ: What are you hearing from companies about their biggest challenges as it relates to hiring and finding qualified applicants?

Solü: With the prevalence of remote work, candidates now can go beyond their geographic borders to find jobs. This has led to increased competition among companies to recruit local talent for on-site work.

What does this mean for employers? They’re shifting strategies and getting creative about the ways they approach staffing. Many organizations are also seeking to increase diversity among their workforce but are facing challenges in finding qualified candidates from underrepresented groups. This has led to a renewed focus on creating more inclusive recruitment strategies and increasing diversity in the talent pipeline.

Speaking of DEI, we’re proud that many of our recruiters have achieved a certified diversity and inclusion designation after participating in an AIRS training course.

TEQ: What’s one piece of advice you would give to companies that are struggling with their talent acquisition process?

Solü: Candidate behavior and preference have changed significantly in recent years. Recruiting and talent acquisition need to reflect current talent market trends and take into consideration the needs and wants of job seekers. This combined with having an efficient recruiting process and positive candidate experience can help to alleviate challenges.

TEQ: What trends are you seeing in the talent space that companies should be aware of?

Solü: The demand for remote work is still high, and the organizations that provide flexibility will have a significantly broader reach and appeal.

Some other factors that matter to candidates that companies should be prepared to talk about include company culture, career development opportunities, what they’re doing as it relates to DEI, as well as sustainability and social initiatives.
