Beyond Business as Usual: Pittsburgh Sends $1M+ in Relief to Ukraine

Pittsburgh Technology Council

Meet the Embassy of Ukraine for an important update on humanitarian relief efforts. Kostyantyn Vorona, Head of Consular Division and Humanitarian Assistance Unit, for the Embassy of Ukraine in the USA, will talk about specific needs facing the people of Ukraine, as well as some of the key avenues that companies can help direct their support through. We will also be joined by the President of Brother’s Brother Foundation, which, at the outset of the war, joined forces with the Pittsburgh Technology Council to set an aggressive goal to send much needed medical supplies to the people of Ukraine. In classic Pittsburgh fashion, we’ve crushed that initial goal, having already raised more than $750,000 and airlifted an initial four truckloads of supplies that arrived in Ukraine last week.
