BNY Mellon Hosts Women in Technology Event

BNY Mellon convened its "Women in Technology" Tech Talks event yesterday to prompt lively discussions with the next generation of women in technology. This event was sponsored by Lucille Mayer, Head of Client Experience Delivery and Global Innovation at BNY Mellon and Executive Sponsor of BNY Women in Technology and featured Nicole Fouron, Chief Administrative Officer, BNY Mellon Asset Servicing Americas, providing the opening remarks. [caption id="attachment_2981" align="alignleft" width="330"]Women In Technology 2017 Signature Event: Women in Technology[/caption] Tech Talk presenters included: Audrey Russo, CEO, Pittsburgh Technology Council; Douglas Pamplin, Managing Director, BNY Mellon Technology Service Group; and Alison Parkhill, Senior Process Improvement Analyst, BNY Mellon Information Security. Russo provided an overview of her leadership journey over the years while holding executive positions at ALCOA, MAYA Design and currently the Pittsburgh Technology Council. "It was a Snapchat version of my leadership journey," Russo said. "I wanted to focus on what really matters, when focus can impede you and take a real look at the elephants often found in the room." Anastasiya Maksakova, Sr. Client Implementation Lead, U.S. Business Change, BNY Mellon Asset Servicing Americas, provided closing remarks.
