The High Technology Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization based in Fairmont, W.Va., whose mission is to promote greater regional economic diversification focusing on knowledge sector expansion. The growing presencf various operations from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) at the I-79 Technology Park in Fairmont involving high-performance computing and artificial intelligence (AI) has established an expanding business case driving innovation and entrepreneurship. The High Technology Foundation is pursuing several initiatives to help develop an innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem around these operations to fully maximize the rapidly expanding economic opportunities.
The High Technology Foundation’s strategy for achieving its mission is called the Federal Anchor Model. This approach involves the recruitment of Federal operations or “Federal Anchors” that are relocating, expanding or newly established to the region. The highest recruitment priority is on Federal Anchors that offer substantial annual contracting opportunities to businesses. This characteristic is the critical component for achieving economic diversity because it establishes a fundamental business case for companies to locate in the region.

Jamie's Dream Team
Jamie's Dream Team is a nonprofit corporation organized and existing under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The corporation was organized on November 21, 2005. Jamie's Dream Team is considered a public charity by the Internal Revenue Service, and it is exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Jamie's Dream Team is managed by a fifteen (15) member community based Board of Directors. Mission Statement: The mission of Jamie's Dream Team is to lift the spirits of those suffering from, and ease the burden caused by, serious illness, injury, disability or trauma. Purpose: The purpose of Jamie's Dream Team is to provide assistance and/or make distributions to or on behalf of qualifying individuals who are handicapped, disabled, terminally ill, severely injured or suffering from a serious medical condition, disease, or trauma.
