Among Us 3D Vents to Steam PC on May 6, 2025

PITTSBURGH, PA — APRIL 15, 2025 — Today, Schell Games and Innersloth announced that Among Us 3D, a fully immersive 3D version of the popular social deduction game Among Us, will launch on May 6, 2025, for $9.99 on Steam PC. The game is currently available to wishlist and will be available to buy at 20% off on Steam at launch.

To amp up the excitement, Crewmates now have a new task: the Powered by Wishlists Challenge. As the community hits specific Steam Wishlist milestones, they will unlock exclusive in-game cosmetics available across all platforms! Stay tuned to the Schell Games blog and Among Us 3D social channels for updates as challenge details are revealed later this month.

Initially designed for VR platforms, Among Us 3D brings the same chaotic fun, teamwork, and betrayal into a first-person 3D experience that’s accessible for players with or without a VR headset. The game supports cross-platform play, allowing Steam PC players to join lobbies with friends on Meta Quest, Steam VR, PlayStation VR 2, and PICO.

Among Us 3D players can look forward to:

  • Tag Mode — A permanent, new mode for Among Us 3D players that introduces another role: The Infected. Don’t let them touch you…Run, Crewmates, run!

  • Native Proximity Voice Chat — Yap with friends directly in-game. No need for additional third-party platforms.

  • Limited-Time Events —  Experience new and experimental game modes, roles, and cosmetics with rolling out for the rest of 2025. (Check out the 2025 Roadmap.)

  • New and Returning Minigames —  Experience beloved tasks, along with some new ones. Now, with first-person controls.

  • Customization Galore — A wardrobe of hats, gloves, and skins present an endless number of cosmetic customization combinations. Players can use Stardust, Among Us 3D’s new in-game currency, to customize their beans. 

Though VR players can look forward to playing with their friends on PC, Among Us 3D is not compatible with the original Among Us game on any platform.
