The Pittsburgh autonomy sector has reached critical mass and has the potential to become a major player in the global market, a new study finds. But urgent action is needed to compete more effectively against other regions and to encourage autonomy companies to locate and remain in Southwestern Pennsylvania as they mature and grow. 

Speaking of autonomy, Locomation's Tekin Meriçli will tell us how the company is on the path to automate tractor trailers. According to Tekin, with full autonomy, trucking industry operating costs could decline by about45%, saving the industry between $85 billion and $125 billion. In addition, new routing powered by connectivity and analytics can increase efficiencies by up to 25%.
