TechVibe Neighborhood Tour at Mill 19 Features Western Oncolytics and HEBI Robotics

The conversations from the TechVibe Radio Neighborhood Tour at RIDC's Mill 19 in Hazelwood Green continue with Western Oncolytics and HEBI Robtics! Western Oncolytics was founded in 2014 to bring cutting-edge, next-generation oncolytic immunotherapies to cancer patients everywhere. Spun out of University of Pittsburgh’s world-class oncolytic virus and immunotherapy research programs, it is now advancing multiple therapeutic candidates towards the clinic and occupies over 18,000 square feet of lab space. Listen here. HEBI Robotics was founded in 2014 by a cross-disciplinary team from the world-renowned Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University. The company is a spin-out of CMU's Biorobotics Lab, led by Professor Howie Choset. In 2016, HEBI released its X-Series platform of modular hardware and software tools. We talk to Dave Raida of HEBI Robotics about growing the company here in Pittsburgh. Listen here.  Check out interviews from part one of our stay at Mill 19.
