Tech and Data Summit
The Tech & Data Practice Group at Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C. will be presenting the “Pittsburgh Tech & Data Summit” on November 1, 2019 at the Duquesne University School of Law. The Summit will serve as a multidisciplinary event, gathering nearly 150 professionals from the Tech sector, Legal sector, and Business sector to encourage dialogue and a comprehensive exchange of ideas to promote growth and progress across those sectors and beyond. The Summit’s theme revolves around diverse perspectives from our region’s leaders on the most pressing issues regarding the use of technology and interaction with consumer data.
Shale Insight Conference
SHALE INSIGHT™ offers participants unprecedented interaction with industry-leading CEOs, elected officials and thought leaders, all of whom play a critical role in crafting the public policy and technical landscape that defines shale gas development around the world. Insightful technical and public affairs sessions, national keynote addresses, and high-powered networking sessions will provide attendees, sponsors, and exhibitors unprecedented access to the industry’s most influential leaders and innovators.
Truefit helped Three10 Solutions design its Dorothy AI platform built around their machine-learning search technology for patent attorneys that produces results and visualizations that are clearly understandable. The application will improve the speed and usability for attorneys to perform these searches themselves, reducing the need for outsourcing.
Ramayya Krishnan, Heinz College
Dean of the Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy Ramayya Krishnan talks about artificial intelligence and operational research. All around us, the AI race is moving fast – cars and games, the sharing economy platforms, disaster recovery, Alexa and Siri, fake news and social media, fraud detection; the list goes on and on. Krishnan will discuss how AI is already impacting our lives and expanding every day. Yet there is little awareness that the field of operations research and analytics contributes in foundational ways to the success of AI and its application.
