Hire Up Recruiting Events: Looking to recruit the next generation of top technology talent for part and full-time positions or internships? The Pittsburgh Technology Council’s Hire UP can help. Hire UP convenes top students from all Pittsburgh colleges and universities, for a top-notch job fair. Students studying information technology, engineering, traditional sciences, and more will be looking to learn about opportunities at your company.

TechFest: Pittsburgh TechFest is a one-day June event where software development professionals from Southwestern Pennsylvania and surrounding areas will get together to talk and learn about perfecting their craft. Topics will include coding, tools, agile, project management, etc. All development disciplines developers, testers, PMs, DBAs, BAs etc.) and all development stacks (Ruby, Java, .Net, JavaScript, Python, SQL Server, Oracle, etc.) are welcome!

Summer Slam Networking Happy Hour + Game Night: This social event is for Pittsburgh vibrant technology community filled with software developers, engineers, data scientists, product managers, UX developers, AI/Machine Learning engineers, cybersecurity professionals, systems analysts, help desk technicians and everyone in between.

Host a Private Job Fair

Tech Connect: Tech Connect programs are a unique way to brand your business as the employer of choice among a specialized group of professionals. Culminating in a private virtual event, via Zoom, Tech Connect brings the Council’s recruiting, event planning and marketing tools together to dramatically increase a company’s exposure to targeted job seekers (passive and active).

Deliverables:

  1. The Council will work closely with your team to understand your specific hiring needs.
  2. We will work collaboratively with your HR and/or marketing teams to help understand the message that you seek to deliver about your business.
  3. We will execute a marketing campaign that will include direct communication to active and passive job seekers through various communication, media and social media platforms.
  4. We will work closely with your team to ensure a first-class resume review prior and virtual event experience. We will set up the event via Zoom and arrange breakout rooms based on scheduled interviews for one on one conversations.
  5. You will appear on our TECH VIBE Talent-showcasing the work culture of your company. This will be hosted by myself and our president, Audrey Russo. It will be recorded and able to be played again during your event.
